I'm just curious what everyone's operating positions look like. If you feel comfortable, share a photo or two.

Here's mine. I'm really wanting some sort of shelving to sit the monitor's on to help tidy things up a bit. I'm not too handy though, so it'll be an adventure. The autotuner controller drives me crazy because it won't sit flat due to the heavy coax coming into the back.

Not gonna lie, mine looked like this before I cleaned it up before the photo lol

Mine is a little messy. Sometimes I can fit my laptop in to run a WSPR beacon for a day or so.

Looks like you've been up to building projects.

A bit. Here's one, I'm waiting for a friend to finish 3D printing a mounting point for the driven element.
I'm fairly new to ham radio, and like building antennas.

Two meters? I have a 2 meter Arrow yagi that I like quite a bit. I got it because a buddy and I were practicing CW on 2 meters and he lives a good distance from me. Works like a charm!

Yes, it's for 2m. I don't really have much use for it, since repeater coverage in my area is great. Though there is one I can only just receive with the rubber ducky antenna, so this might work for that.

Any SOTA peaks near your QTH? It'd be great for that.

I have line of sight to the Alps. I assume there is some SOTA going on there.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That would be fun. I’m about 30 minutes away from the Rocky Mountains but haven’t done any SOTA yet.

Mine evolves over time but it's getting to where I’m happy.

Ah. another Hamclock user! I've been meaning to put one together.

I have mine running on a Pi that has started having some issues so I might have to replace it but otherwise I like it.
