It tickles my tits to see Alonso doing so well, he not only deserves it, he earned it.

What bothers me is Lance's performance. I like him and he is not a bad driver imo but this is just embarrassing now ...

It is really interesting to see Stroll doing so poorly. I think it's a case of Alonso overperforming and Stroll underperforming but who knows

It's a reminder of just how outstanding the talents of Verstappen, Hamilton and Alonso are that they make other great drivers look ordinary. To be fair to Stroll there's plenty of other world-champion-level drivers in the past that Alonso has beaten significantly.

Fair point. The grid has been reasonable close. I do love that Alonso sounds like hes having a blast while doing it.

Seems like the best battle will be between Alonso and Hamilton for 3rd (maybe 2nd) in the standings. Perez will fall off. Ferrari won't challenge.

Perez is definitely not finishing second this season. I'd be slightly surprised if he finishes the season in the red bull.

He will finish in the RedBull, just not 2nd in the championship.

Perez might pick up pace once the WDC is out of sight.

Wow Perez went from confidently saying he can fight max this year to being in serious danger of losing P2 to Alonso in a matter of, what, 3 races? Honestly he's been so far off the pace the past couple races that Alonso deserves that P2. I hope he can get it, but fair play to Checo if he can get himself back on track.

Yes, the fight for the WDC is dead (if it ever was alive), but looks as we have a 3-way fight for second. I will just pretend Verstappen is not in the race anymore lol.

I really hope that Lance stroll can find a bit more pace. I actually like the guy and what his father has done with the team. But in case of a title fight he would just not be good enough as a number 2

He's been really unlucky this season with DNFs and bad Safety cars timings. People only tend to look at the finishing position & points. AM really need to stop doing bizarre strategies with Stroll, especially in quali

I think Hamilton and Alonso's quality is showing this year. As for sainz and leclerc, I'm a sainz fanboy, but I can't seriously believe he's better. Leclerc must start to claw back the difference soon.
