Telltale games? Didn’t they go out of business years ago and liquidate?

They've still been producing games post-liquidation. For a while I thought it was just back catalog but it seems that someone must have bought them out and kept producing

The brand, IPs and assets got bought by LCG Entertainment in 2019.

So how does a brand that is owned by LCG acquire another studio?

LCG was basically created to purchase Telltale and their assests. Once that was done they started to operate under the Telltale name.
