I'm getting a login error although I'm pretty sure I typed the correct details.

I have faced this issue a couple of times already. What fixed it was to force close the app and open it again.

It works perfectly for me, I am typing this from Jerboa right now.

I might be typing the instance wrong. Is lemmy.world correct? Or do I need to put in something else?

If you have commas in your password jerboa apparently doesn't like that. Also read somewhere that really long passwords might be an issue

This is probably the issue. I typically use passphrase or something with special characters. Will give it a shot once the site allows me to login again without this perpetual spinning circle.

This was my problem. Only give Jerboa the first 60 characters of your password and it should work.

lemmy.world is correct, I just successfully logged out and back in again.

The "l" should be capitalized, that's how I searched for this instance there.

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The "I/i"? Isn't it an "L/l"?

[โ€“] ConditionOverload 2 points 1 year ago

Yes it is, sorry I should've been more specific. Just have to capitalize the first letter on "Lemmy".

There might be a space at the end of the username... Also try mail ID instead of username... Both of this tricks worked for me...

Just gonna chirp in that I was on the mobile website and couldn't work out how to see ALL. Jerboa is the way!
