It's a good idea to protect any frame. Random rock with a sharp edge can puncture anything in the right circumstances.

Yes. Some modern steel frames have super thin 0.8mm sections which can be punctured without much force. No one wants to ride a 10kg frame.

Absolutely. Here in Phoenix, we have rocks on top of rocks everywhere. Rock strikes are inevitable and ride wrap does help a bit.

I realize it’s a pain to install the stuff yourself, but you can have a bike shop do it for you if you prefer.

I had invisiframe installed on my newest bike and it is well worth it. Peace of mind plus the protection can potentially help for later sale of the bike when you decide to get a new one!
