Another piece of technology born in Europe, bought by Americans and killed.

Americans were originally born in Europe (the non genocided natives), just saying...
Except for the slaves.
True true.
So either you are saying:
It's all Europe fault!
OR
It's a shame Americans aren't a piece of technology that could be ruined
I mean, the people going to america have a shorter live span and no healthcare that really helps that well
Kinda makes sense. Microsoft Teams fills the same space and Skype hasn't been P2P for a long time. Other than the brand, there's nothing really left of Skype anyway to turn off.
I don't use Skype for business, I use it for the video calls and for the ability to have international VOIP numbers that I can ring from/to, and send texts and stuff.
Not sure what service I'll migrate to once this is gone, I guess I'll lose my numbers too :-(
Skype was over when they made it an Electron app back in 2016 or so. This is merely the funeral.
It seems that they are also doing the same to their Outlook app
Serves it right! :D
Exactly, even moreso that Microsoft butchered it
Well, at least the Skype ringtone will live on forever in my head with Leeroy Jenkins.
Good riddance
