One day the dorks working in doge are going to learn about bulk pricing and projected use negotiations and minimum commitments and they will realize that a lot of this is not waste but how contracts are constructed.

Yes let’s go back and negotiate with Microsoft every time we add teams to another conference room. Who cares about the fact that we plan to bring 60 more online.

Sure there’s a price break at 20k seats that makes it cheaper than trying to size it exactly to 15k seats, but fuck that, we “wasted” 5k seats.

Fucking morons

From now on every time they set up a new office they'll have to send Tim the intern down to office Depot to pick up a Windows license.

VS Code licenses.... If they had said Visual Studio licenses that would make sense. But isn't VS Code free to use?

ETA: Can confirm it's freeware. There is no license cost. 50% chance the DOGE dummies are too stupid to realize that; and 50% chance they know and are acting dumb because Fox News and other MAGA news outlets don't care and just want their already ignorant and outraged viewers to get angrier for no good reason.

I don't think doge knows the differnence, one of the guys got fired from an intership.

It takes effort to get fired from an internship. Like, tag everyone in the company in an insulting Slack message and follow up by doubling down with "y'all mald."
