Google looks to be bringing the Google Photos slideshows on Nest Hub, Chromecast, and Google TV to more “eligible,” third-party devices.

Perfect, since they broke the ambient mode's "recent highlights" simple display last month and have yet to fix it, and only recently restored partner photo sharing for 3rd party apps after breaking it with no announcement in October, I'm sure there are many things to anticipate in this "enhancement".

Fuck Google.

I would much prefer my phone having the ability to privately communicate my photos to my own home server that is never analyzed by Google's AI spy.
