A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

How do you feel about Vietnam?

Vietnam and Canada are nothing alike. What the fuck is with this braindead comment?

I've spent a lot of time in Canada. I like it a lot. I haven't noticed less freedom. Aside from there being no 2a, there is still no shortage of guns nor lack of availability.

Canada ranked 15th on the corruption perception index last year compared to US rank 28th, so theres that.

I am not a fan of Tim Hortons. There's a shit-ton of Mennonites all cooking delicious foods, and an outrageous fuckload of east Indians also cooking extremely delicious food, and I am a fan of both of them.

Idk why feeble-minded pussies downvoted this. Literally is cold. Imagine being so weak you downvote something. Like what.

Personally, extended edition America, with less freedom, more stupid politicians, and a great vast wilderness that I want to explore more. Most of the people I've met are super friendly too.

It's worse than America, marginally better than Europe and significantly better than China, Russia, North Korea, etc. despite arguably being on the same trajectory. The benefit is that they haven't really been sliding towards authoritarianism until relatively recently as I understand it.

That said, their culture seems fine enough and we could learn a thing or two from their niceness.
