This is a perfect description of it. My bakery was sold from the family that opened it a century ago to an mba with no prior bakery experience last year and so far they’ve changed our discount (worse for everyone but me, because of what I happen to buy), narrowed a cash card benefit, introduced a new management program based on kpi, and made our sales results more opaque. In effect, they’ve reduced our benefits, made them more difficult to be eligible for, changed our values, and made it more difficult for us to keep track of things.
