The amount of times a game seemed super cool by premise, maybe by some mechanics I read about, and then I found out it had card battling (instant turnoff for me) is probably three, which is weird. This is one of them.

I also can't stand card mechanics. I don't know why, I don't mind a low stakes poker game or local card game styles with friends. Can't stand card based mechanics in video games.
