  1. Respect the community. If you're not into self-deprecating/dark/suicidal humor then this place isn't for you. Kindly just block and move on. This is just how some of us cope.

  2. Respect one another.

  3. All titles must begin with 2meirl4meirl. This is for multiple reasons. One is just so you can be lazy with titles but another is so people who aren't into this kind of humor can avoid it.

  4. Otherwise just the general no bigotry, no dickishness, no spam, no malice, etc stuff.

It's nothing to worry about. It's usually gone by morning.

I rerun cat 6 cables in the entirety of my house at night because i couldn't sleep. Something i'd never had the will to do in the morning. Never understimate the productivity pulses you get at night. That is if you don't have to wake up early that day :P.

That sounds slightly manic, to me. Source: bi-polar.

But if you just decided, "well, I can't sleep, so I might as well put my time to good use," well done!

Not me. My urge to self-improve is strongest while I'm at work, then it instantly evaporates when I get home to my cats and PC :(

Absolutely - the best time to get that urge is in moments when you're not in a position to really take any action. You fall asleep with the happy glow of prospective progress, and by the time you wake up you've forgotten about having to do anything.

That's one of the dangers of insomnia.

me on the way home from work but the minute i get home all the motivation evaporates

Sleep can wait, motivation only comes once every few months

No I'm asleep at night, but in the morning I'm ready to go only i have to be quiet and it's too cold

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

Yup, usually as I’m trying to fall asleep.
