If this isn't a declaration of war, what is?
Fediverse vs Disinformation
Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.
By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

Sabotaging international communication lines maybe?
Well that too is a declaration of war. I mean as soon as we understood it was an organised effort from russia.
Berlin is intensifying countermeasures, collaborating with allies, and considering sanctions.
The fuck are you waiting for? Not sure whether or not it's a problem yet?
It won’t be a problem pretty soon. See the US and Georgia, when the interference succeeds, those that benefitted from it sure as hell aren’t going to bother even acknowledging the interference happened.
Isn't it time the EU just shut down this cesspool?
