Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid

Just a quick post to share the case I designed for my Cheapino.
Many people were curious to get the files for it so here they are.

I've never done real CAD, so I had to bash it in tinkercad.
I'll try to learn to model properly and iterate on it eventually, but I am short on time right now.
It should make it much more usable on delicate surfaces in the meantime!

Thx again - just printed the right side and was initially a bit worried about the snug fit, but after pushing it in a bit it simply fits perfectly!

Cool!
The fit is very unforgiving. It might be hard to use with plastics that warp or with poorly adjusted printers... Or if the PCB is cut a bit larger.
I had trouble scaling the part and had to be... Creative. Thats why the thumb portion's shape is strange.
Glad to see it works for you!

Nice case! Basic but functional, pretty good for a first
