Two weapons are confirmed for Path of Exile 2, but the way they're designed could mean absolutely massive changes for the Path of Exile weapon system as a whole. PoE hasn't seen a new weapon class introduced in many years, since sceptres were added, and with the introduction of spears and crossbows, we are either seeing these as incredibly special weapon classes in PoE...or everything is about to change.

What do you think? Will we see more? Scythes? Flails? Whips? Actual unarmed as an option??? We'll see soon!

Just want to take the opportunity to say that I started seeing your videos with this and the flashback series and I'm loving every single one! you're a wonderful element in the POE community, and I'm glad to see you posting here

In the current game weapons are mostly just another piece of gear where you slap on mods. It will be interesting to see weapon types actually mattering and changing the gameplay to a point where we might need to refer to builds also with the weapon they use. Hopefully this finally fixes melee.

Poe build naming always been funny. Class, notable, main skill, special thing etc. It makes for totaly stupid names, and adding weapons on top ? Love it lmao

Yeah, the epitome of that was probably CoC Ass. I still fondly remember Harvest league where it was a thing.
