looks like circular knitting needles, chunky ones at that.

They really are chonkers, what would they be used for?

They are US size 50, and you can use them for super bulky yarn, like this. I know a lot of people make blankets with them, I made a little neck wrap. Dying banana for scale.

That's incredible. The picture is making my eyes go funny as the three objects look as though they're at totally different scales.
