I don't blame the kid. I blame overly zealous professors who put unrealistic requirements on Turn-it-in scores.
There's only so many ways an idea can be succinctly expressed. Any other phrasing just becomes obtuse but sometimes students have no choice because some professor when overboard with plagiarism detection.
When you ask chatgpt to write your essay
what she meant to say is the student ran a plagiarized paper through a synonym injector, then turned it in
Looks like they used an automatic thesaurus to cover plagiarism.
Or wrote it in a different language and used Google Translate.
More likely it was written in a seperate language and translated
I propose we call meta and other snoopy mega corps "Mega Sibling".
