Not sure if anyone else was following this, but looks like there finally moving ahead with the Castro Theatre.

A lot of conditions. Kind of a reflection of local politics today IMO.

People who demand institutions never change and must be preserved in amber are the same people who act shocked when it goes out of business.

If the Castro Theater does not update to appeal to modern audiences, it will die.
