Instead I just brag about it then feel guilty later in a moment of clarity when I realize they usually didn’t have the same luck and opportunities I did
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

"and this is where we do our blood boy transfusions. Pardon the ivory floors, I know those are faux pas these days."
I just grow ‘em suspended in goo-filled chambers these days, we just transfuse wherever
This is the worst, I feel so uncomfortable. How am I supposed to react to somebody shit-talking their own place? Especially if it’s nicer than my living arrangement.
It's just anxiety, throw them a quick compliment about something and unless they really have a complex, that usually closes the loop and you can move on.
You could say, "Hey! Quit shit talking my friends place. I think it's nice."
It's really anxiety, nerves, awkwardness, etc. They just might need a jolt to get out of their head for a moment. I have had friends that talk shit about themselves and I had to use the 'stop trashing my friend line.'
