I honestly don't understand why this is not standard. Mecial facilities are were sick people congregate. Seems a good place to require masks in general.

Why is this uplifting?

Mask requirenments if used signal bad times, now obviously, if mask requirenments are put in place due to an actual threat, then yeah, it is a good action, but it would not be uplifting.

Hospitals are full of sick people and compromised immune systems. Frankly all health care facilities should require masks. Lot of germs places meant for sick people.

I get what you mean, but considering the massive waste already generated by hospitals in the form of single use plastics and taking into account that the standard medical mask is made from non-woven plastic, I still don't see it as uplifting news
