Has anyone else been saving energy and money with smart thermostats this winter?

I connected my existing mysa thermostats and I’m surprised how quickly it’s adding up.

I’ve been wondering if it’s possible to get Hilo to turn smart switches off during peak demand events? I have a few panel heaters which I’d like to loop into the system. They’re already on smart switches but I’ve had no luck adding them.

I've switched to Flex D, and I'm using Home Assistant to manage peaks. Already saved about 160$ this winter, I really like it.

Can't really help you with Hilo, though. I've avoided that program for exactly the reason you mention, you kinda have to stay within their walled garden for all of it to work.

Not exactly sure if you would be able to achieve it like this, but you may be able to using HomeAssistant and the Hilo integration: https://github.com/dvd-dev/hilo
