That ad covered mat is atrocious. I agree the new ref shirts look like fast food workers, although I was thinking Wendy's not McD's. I could live without all the celeb cameos, Hogan getting booed was great and you could tell he was bothered by it.
I don't mind Undertaker, his podcast is decent when Teddy Long is on talking of the old times, but maybe leave Taker on the Axxess events with very rare appearances. To answer Geek's question... I believe he is very much living the gimmick like Flair, he took that gimmick in 2000 to heart and ran with it, he likely is a bad ass, I certainly wouldn't have picked a fight with him in his prime, but mostly I think it's the gimmick and he's just living it. As to Katy's thing about him being an old loser... well yeah, he rides Harley's, as somebody who likes to kick tires on bikes from time to time and that is almost all you see on them and at the stealerships these days, silver haired assholes. I do still love the old Fat Bob they were making a few years ago, it's now discontinued because their CEO has decided to double down on existing high price point customers... old people.
I remember thinking when Endeavor bought them that maybe the Saudi deals would end because of how Endeavor cut ties with them... now we know that isn't happening, they still have 3-4 years on the original deal, but Riyadh Season is on the ring mat, they seem to have doubled down on the so called "blood money."
All around, there was nothing in my borrowed stream would make me buy Netflix for WWE. Just as I figured. We'll see where they are in a few weeks in terms of booking and quality.
