The weapons sale proposal includes small-diameter bombs, warheads, attack helicopters as well as artillery shells and fighter jets.

The administration of President Joe Biden has notified Congress of a proposed $8 billion arms sale to Israel, a US official said on Friday, with Washington maintaining support for its ally whose war in Gaza has killed more than 45,000.

Protesters have for months demanded an arms embargo against Israel, but US policy has largely remained unchanged. In August, the United States approved the sale of $20 billion in fighter jets and other military equipment to Israel.

Facing international criticism, Washington has stood by Israel during its assault on Gaza that has displaced nearly all of Gaza's 2.3 million population, caused a hunger crisis and led to genocide accusations by several experts, the UN, and world leaders.

At least 4 babies has frozen to death in the last week or two due to the genocide.

In the past week, at least four infants have died of hypothermia from low temperatures and a lack of access to warmth while living in tents, Dr. Ahmed Al-Farra, the head of pediatrics and obstetrics at Nasser Hospital, in Khan Younis, said on Thursday. Among them were a three-day-old and a one-month-old who also died in Al-Mawasi, he said.

Staff in the neonatal ICU see at least five cases of hypothermia per day, added Al-Farra. Reduced breastfeeding and limited availability of infant formula has severely compounded the risk of hypothermia among babies, he told CNN. Meanwhile, health workers are struggling to treat young patients due to shortages of electricity, diesel and other fuel.

“This is one of the disastrous results of this criminal war,” said Al-Farra. >

I can see Trump saying: fsck this proxy war! Let's invade! MAGA!

Sure, but remember biden is and has been the president. He won’t come out and say it, but his actions demonstrate he shares that same goal. Biden is no different than trump here

Is it really a sale if the US has been giving $8 billion on average in aid to Israel annually for decades?

"So... if you guys can afford to buy weapons from us then we don't need to keep sending you money for free."

It's a money printer for the MIC.

Sells weapons and then reimburses the cost. Call it what it is, a gift.

Killing innocents isn’t working, guess we gotta kill them harder. Where does it end?

Who gets the $20 billion? Why do I feel like at least some of it eventually lands in USA politicians pockets?
