This information should never ever have been collected in the first place.

This was the biggest reason I didn’t want a new car in this day and age.

this is a big part of why people in my area don't want EVs, even though new gas cars will have the same spying bullshit.

there really is no choice but to get an old car with goos body condititon and do a diy build, assuming you can get the adapters or cad and machine it yourself... and strip all the gas parts off, weld on battery racks, weld on additional structural bracing depending on how the gas parts may have provided that funcionality, etc.

We literally just got a bunch of news about it. Most sell your data to brokers and/or keep it for other purposes.
