Comics should be unintentionally funny. Spider-man cracking wise is not what this is about.

Santa Claus, forced by a storm to make an emergency landing on a lonely schooner, felt an overwhelming unease as he followed the captain below deck..

Sadly the reindeer would have probably survived, being able to fly back into the air. However being harnessed to the heavy sleigh and packages, they were dragged down into the depths.
