Last time I voted for anything on r/Antiwork the mods ignored it and went on an interview with fox news anyway.

This is probably why they won’t shut it down. They’re more interested in the clout than the community.

The single mod that also did it without the consent of the other mods. They acted alone and represented everyone in a terrible fashion.

I can't back this up, but I've heard the mods there are literally feds.

Why would they be, there's no real community there that needs watching.

They can vote to re-open but only for postanti-worke themed images of furries working for John Oliver.

...and move to Lemmy

Never really understood the hate for AntiWork, also never really visited it that much though.

I remember some user posting about how their boss made them like barbeque once a week, and a few comments were about how somebody should crosspost it to r/antiwork, and somehow they'd find a way to hate on it. Then when it was crossposted the comments were all positive, sharing how their bosses did similar things.

i agree, but the only real way is that people need to be more aware, move to lemmy and just stop using reddit

I don't think subreddits can be deleted. A mod could set it to private and then quit being the mod, but then reddit would just appoint new mods.

But can't they ban or remove all people.? Or allow all banned ones back in?
