With smart phones, and consoles with minor generational gaps and PC functions, there isn't much utility in maintaining a home PC.

Market share falls? That means people are either actively ditching Windows 11s that they already own, or more people are buying other OSs. Looks like ‘oh shit, Windows 10 is ending, better get a few licenses’.

I believe Windows 10 went up about as much as 11 dropped, but it was well within the margin of error anyhow.
