I'm not going this year, but I'm seriously considering next year.
Cosmere Discussion
A place to discuss stories set in Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere! Non-Cosmere series such as Skyward are also welcome here.
Make sure to tag spoilers. Posts titles should begin with [Book title] to denote what spoilers can be discussed in the thread without tags. i.e [Words of Radiance] or [WoR]
Warning! Spoiler markup currently does not work on the Jerboa or Mlem apps. Spoiler text will be plainly visible when viewing from these apps.
Any comments with spoilers outside the scope of the book mentioned in the title, or books preceding it in a series should be tagged. Lemmy's spoiler formatting for post bodies and comments is:
[Spoiler label here]

Next year's should be huge, it's going to be great!
This is the year of Sanderson so I'm going already got tickets and an Airbnb.
Considering it for sure
We've been to both so far, and plan to go again this year! If you saw the inflatable Doomslug, mist wraith, or cosmere Among Us those were all us!
I went last year for The Lost Metal, and it was great! Already picked up badges for this year, just need to get my hotel booked still.
Overall it was a great time, there was a good mix of smaller panels that were both spoiler and non-spoiler, and big events in the main auditorium.
I wasn't there for Dragonsteel 2021, but with the bigger size of 2022 there were definitely some small growing pains. I liked the survey they did afterwards though, and as long as they listen to feedback 2023 should be great!
Probably a good time to start a Skyward reread as well now that I think about it.
