The trouble of watching a video about somebodies passionate hobby is I suddenly want to buy equipment.... which I know I will NEVER use...

I get flashbacks of doing phone hijinks, but the POTS system is effectively dead to me. I live in a house with only fiber optic internet, no copper phone lines, no cable television.
