Supervisors pass law to cut city fees for cash registers, candles, extended hours, et al.

Maybe we can have a city that doesn’t shut down at 9 pm…

Wait, businesses have to pay extra to the city in order to stay open late? I always wondered why so many places closed so early.

Charging taxes on extended business hours is such an asinine thing to do. How could the city have even thought about doing that to cripple businesses and stifle the local night life?
