If the Trump administration order them to implement backdoors, they’ll have a congressional majority and Supreme Court to back that up. Whittaker should at least have a plan to relocate the company to Switzerland or some similar jurisdiction.

If backdoors are ordered on encryption, half of silicon valley is going under, specially RSA. (Which would take a big bite out of EMC).
