This was back in 2018. I've downsized my collection since, preferring to watch straight from my NAS via Plex or on streaming platforms like Mubi and Criterion Channel.

But I'm still very much into the collection and discussing it. Hell, me and the wife just bought some Criterion shirts a month ago. I regret getting Hausu; I'm a little too old to be rocking a design like that, lol.

I opted out of Reddit and was hoping there was a community here in Lemmy and here we are.

Hear hear! It's still quiet, but it IS new after all.

I do know the subreddit has sympathizers to the cause before it closed (then reopened). Not sure if they're willing to permanently move or at least double dip and give this place a shot.

That's an eclectic cut of Criterion movies. Very few of the core Janus titles. Nice.
Who's your favorite director? I want to say David Lynch based on the two movies of his you have and other titles you've bought.

Surprisingly, it's a toss-up between Kiezlowski, Varda (the boxset wasn't around back then), or Kubrick.
