Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.

They at least block them in court, so while law enforcement can use them, "results" from them are not admissible in court.

It is still important to be able to identify the suspect of such a crime regardless if they are alive or dead by the time they can be named.
