1. Stay Civil

This is a place for friendly discussion, memes, guides, art, gameplay questions, screenshots and the like. Discrimination and harrassment won't be tolerated.

2. Mark Spoilers

It is okay to post about "related games" (such as Age of Calamity and Breath of the Wild) but please use the spoiler "censor" and do not put spoilers directly into the title, as the censor doesn't work this way. Posts about other Zelda games might be suited better in general Zelda communities, like the ones listed at the bottom of the sidebar.

3. Offtopic Posts

Anything not related to BotW, like politics, religion, non-Zelda games etc. is better suited elsewhere and will be removed. The same goes for NSFW material.

4. No Advertisements

It is okay to post about merchandise, but links to those "design your own merch" sites will be removed, as those are almost always scams featuring stolen art. Affliate links will be removed as well. This isn't Etsy.

5. Provide Sources

If you're going to post art, comics, guides, screenshots etc. that are not your own OC, please mention the name of the original creator and ideally also a link to their portfolio/website. (Pinterest is almost never the original source)

6. Suggestions are Welcome!

Feedback, requests for improvements and constructive criticism are always appreciated ;)

Final spoiler alert

I really really enjoyed the fire temple, and the whole approach to get there. It felt like an old school Zelda dungeon. Acquiring new ability, fighting a midboss, traversing tough terrain, piecing together how the minecarts and rails work together. It was an absolute blast.

I hear a lot of people just built a flying scooter and skipped most of the actual dungeon, and I think that's a bit sad. You miss a lot of good ol fashioned Zelda style content that way

I did the dungeon the right way.

I am deeply conflicted on the fire temple. If anything it felt most like the OOT water temple out of any dungeon I've played through. Because of that, after finishing it I confidently stated I hated it.

However, IMO it had the best lead up, best boss, and best music. Just the actual dungeon was a grind.

I did it almost entirely the right way, but the fire temple's cart rails were so confusing. Would be much better with a map or some shortcuts after each switch.

Wasn't there a map? When you're in a dungeon, your map defaults to a map of the dungeon itself.

For me, the map was pretty helpful. But with a dark scene it's not always easy to see where to go next. I did most of the switches the 'expected' way, but the fifth one I did need to climb up to hit a switch.

Tne map is fine, but I just wished there's an easy shortcut after each switch to go back.

Guess, I shouldn't tried to cheat by climbing towers

Probably lol; I found that they got you back to the main hub each time pretty easily, but going back out to the switch again required redoing the puzzle again
