Art style of characters is very reminiscent of Oxygen not Included

I don't think that's a bad thing (as long as the artwork is original). A shout-out to the source of their inspiration would be nice, but IMO it's not "mandatory".

I should make one like that where people secretly manage real call centers and pay me to do it.

Do it. Even if the core concept fails, you'll probably learn a lot of new skills.
