Rules:

  1. Comics must come from actual comic books. No AI or Photoshops.

  2. Single panels are preferred.

  3. Comics should be unintentionally funny. Spider-man cracking wise is not what this is about.

Ooh, I actually remember this one!

So, this is a panel from Dragonsword, a backup feature appearing in DC's Warlord series, by Mike Grell. Dragonsword was by Paul Levitz and Tom Yeates, and appeared in issues #51–54 (November 1981–February 1982).

It was a nice swords & sorcery-type story that was elevated by having sort of 'mythic / legendary' vibes, and also by the way that the hero and his weapon were constantly squabbling with each other, not unlike Herbert and his sword in Trondheim's brilliant Donjon series.
