There is no official migration of r/india to lemmy or kbin yet as far as I know. Ideally given the size of india subreddit, if they plan to move to fediverse, they should host their own instance like startrek is doing now. Until then, we might see a lot of India communities pop up and eventually one will get traction and will have the most participation. If anyone is from bangalore, do subscribe to [email protected].

MODERATORS
there is an m/india too, which has about 51 threads, mostly without comments. A lot of the threads are by 1 user.
'm/' is on kbin i presume. I've seen r/india copies there as well and you are right it's one guy. Shit like this makes people who are willing to move from reddit confused. Fediverse is too big to squat and shit your agenda.
A lot of Indian users I guess.
