Why are there so many "r/india" subs? (lemmy.world)

Did the mods of reddit migrate here? Or are the mods here new? I saw one guy moderating c/india, c/indiaspeaks and c/hinduism. How can we be sure of who we are dealing with here?

there is an m/india too, which has about 51 threads, mostly without comments. A lot of the threads are by 1 user.

'm/' is on kbin i presume. I've seen r/india copies there as well and you are right it's one guy. Shit like this makes people who are willing to move from reddit confused. Fediverse is too big to squat and shit your agenda.
