Well I was planning on buying it if it was reasonably priced, so it sure had a negative impact on me. I could afford it if I really wanted to, but it’s just a shitty value proposition. They’re transparently greedy, so, no thanks.

If it was “reasonably” priced at your metric, it’s possible they would’ve only broken even selling it to you, unless you also planned to buy a lot of games to go along with it.

I’m not supporting the model, just that if it was going to exist in any form, it wasn’t going to be much cheaper than this.
