Completely reasonable, unfortunately. I know how much work goes into just using a single Linux device daily. Supporting software on 100+ slightly different flavors of OS must be a nightmare and is bound to cost a game developer money.

And they didn't even touch on the kernel level anti-cheat issues, the anti-corporate attitudes, commie philosophy, unappreciative community, or the fact that hard core gamers are going to stick to Windows / Consoles. Projects like Ueberzug were abandoned because of harassment, and unrealistic expectations from them -and it was a dependency for a few of my favorite programs at the time ( like LF, and ucollage). IOWs it was the so called community that was behind a lot of my wasted time trying to fix things. -It's just not a market I'd want to cater to.

As a Linux user, I don't understand the issue here at all:

Does the game you don't like, cause it doesn't support Linux, cost money?
Then you don't fucking have to buy it.

Was it published for free?
Then you don't fucking get to complain.

There are no other options.

Take interest in why Ueberzug (among other FOSS projects) stopped being developed. -Because of the ridiculous expectations and harassment of the dev for something that was 'free'. It's no wonder that Ryujinx sold out. One of the main problems with using Linux was dealing with other Linux users and the problems they cause.
