Rule 1: Don't ridicule

I'm also having quiche for dinner. I haven't made an asparagus quiche in ages, haven't cooked asparagus in ages.

So I snapped the spears at the natural breaking spot to remove the tough parts. Then cut in 5 cm lengths and steamed. Sauted some onion and a little garlic. Added black pepper. made the quiche mix , put in puff pastry pie crust and then topped with some grated cheddar and paprika.

first use of my new paprika shaker too. 😹 I bought some vintage china shakers, stuck some amusing stickers on for all the different spices I use as topping. I have cinnamon , cocoa and paprika shakers so far. I put glitter pumpkin stickers on the roses 😹

Every year my mum brings out Christmas salt & pepper shakers. Never had a spice in them. Purely decorative. Every year we laugh about them.

I never have salt and pepper shakers on the table. 😬These shakers are for use in cooking.

Pork steak with kiwifruit chutney, with a giant pile of apple and walnut salad with blue cheese sauce (salad kit)

My cheap dodgy burritos. Onion and garlic, fry. Add mince and taco seasoning, fry. Grate cheese and wrap it all up in a flatbread, fry. Serve with tzatziki. My too tired to cook anything reasonable burrito. Edit: also served with some Valentino and Carribbean hot sauce #7

I think the Collins St falcons were having your side dish as their main.
