One key dimension of that is european independence from american tech billionaires - we need to make and run more software, develop tech stacks and social networks over this side of the atlantic. So, good moment to promote the fediverse. I also program in Scala, mainly made in europe.

Say what you will about him but macron was right on that. EU should have been and should prepare to be on their own. We're most certainly not reliable on this side of the pond.
