How did he not notice that they don't need the water? Where did the water go he gave them religiously? Sorry but this is made up.
And how could they hear their dead mum chuckling? Unbelievable.
I mean.
If they live in a suitable climate, the water will evaporate in no time, especially if the mom adjusted the watering times in her instructions accordingly.
A relative of mine had a cactus with a dried helichrysum flower pinned on it for 3 yrs before realizing it was not it's true flower.
