I’m wondering why it’s a goose lol
Looked it up, seems like
Banner supposedly used by Taborite forces led by Bohuslav of Švamberg, whose heraldic emblem was a swan on a red field, later confused with a goose (Czech: husa) as a general symbol of the Hussite movement.
I think these are canting arms(heraldic pun) referencing Jan Hus, the preacher the Hussite movement was named after.
So Queen Victoria had this thing called a bathing machine so she could go swimming like a queen. It was a wagon made for modesty so you could change out of your Victorian best into a bathing suit and the rabble wouldn't see you since you were inside the cabin.
Now I'm imagining that it also contains Hussite militiamen.
Why is there a small planter of rocks? It's not like they can throw through those holes...
Typically these war wagons would be arranged in a line or circle, with infantry covering the gaps. Presumably, the rocks are for tossing over the sides on the heads of the fellows trying to break past the infantry without needing to bother with reloading weapons or wasting ammo.
