Why does it dip at night?
Do people actually stop playing factorio, just to sleep?
Oh, no, that's just the dip during working hours for the other timezones
I had to pause and drive to work, 20 minutes of downtime.
I long for the day where one doesn't need to put steam into offline mode for their commute.
Shitty tethered internet ruined the work day.

I bought and installed Space Age about 24 hours ago, and I'm certain I wasn't the first.

Just playing on the idea that once you start up a new factorio map the days and weeks blend together and time passes without you noticing. Or at least for me :)

Such a great game. If you’ve never played - now’s a great time to start. They changed it just enough where all your old tricks either don’t work or are obsolete. Back to spaghetti factories and making blueprints!

Elevated rail is the reason. I know you still can't build fabricators over it, but at least your rail system can run straight. Research that Refined Concrete quick.

Kinda. You do need to get off-planet and land on a different one, but (imo) it's the most accessible of the new planets. You definitely don't need to go all the way down the tech tree.
I'm still trying to complete Satisfactory before I go back to old habits. Belt management is so unique in Factorio that I'm going to need a refresher anyway.
So they reworked the tech tree and added new planets?
And a fuckton of qol stuff. And the new planets each hold a massive amount of new content. In terms of technologies, but they also all have a fundamentally different crafting chain based on different available resources.
