I mean we had to lose at some point. Missing Saka, Odegaard, and then Saliba will do that. We march on and learn a lesson.

Let's beat Liverpool next week and get right back into it.

Liverpool without Saliba, though... They're flying high and I can't say I'm not worried.

Will be a six pointer if we win though

I think we still can. I am, however, worried that we don't have our Tomiyasu-shaped counter to Salah or our solid center back pairing. Speaking of which, since there's no way Kiwior plays for a while, who do we play alongside Gabriel?

Play

Timber White Gabriel Calafiori

Also - fuck international breaks.

I don't really know how to sum up how I feel.

We felt off the pace and made poor passes which were punished and, once again, the officiating applied the harshest punishments wherever possible

Saliba made a mistake, which is uncharacteristic. Both our starting wingers were out, on top of our creator-in-chief. Kiwior made a massive mistake and we get no benefit of the doubt. I'm annoyed but as others have said, we had to lose sometime.

It's true. Not even the best Man City side has gone toe-to-toe with the invincibles record. I think only Liverpool have been the closest if my memory serves correct?

I think it's more how we lost and not that we lost. If that makes sense

Agreed, but I'm more concerned about how we bounce back - everyone's allowed to have a stinker once in a while, but letting it carry over into multiple shit performances is not. I think some non-English referees and a nice home game will soothe what ails us.

100% guess we will find out shortly :)

It's a long season - I just hope long enough.

Bournemouth fan or just rubbing salt?
