Just divide by three and you will be close enough to understand the scale.

I bought one after reading those posts (second hand). It was great, but unfortunately I broke the hose and after trying and failing to replace it I gave up and bought a different vacuum.

Not sure what it's availability is like outside the UK but numatic Henry vacuums are cheap, simple, easily repairable and robust. If you don't mind the silly smiley face in the front it's a great option.

This could be a slippery slope for me ... I don't even use a torch

Have been using the Sync reddit app daily for years after paying a couple of quid to remove ads whenever I did that. Felt like a steal then and expensive now so, on balance, I'm comfortable having paid the ad randsome. I feel better knowing it all goes to the developer for his personal efforts.

I don't really like this take. The death penalty isn't cultural and people who oppose it are free to vocalise it. Singaporean culture is great because it is a unique melting pot of many different cultures, the death penalty is a legal matter and isn't drawn from the composite cultures of the people that live there.

you can't disagree with the results

It's the third hanging this week for drugs offenses so it would seem that the policy isn't completely effective

the people there feel it is a tradeoff they are willing to live with.

They may be willing to live with it, but i wouldn't presume that they are in favour of the policy. Singapore is a one party state and rated a 'flawed democracy' in The Economist democracy index. Frankly, Singaporeans aren't consulted on the matter.

who the fuck are you to tell those people how they should rule their own country?

On a micro level, who the fuck are the authorities of Singapore to take another person's life.

Just because you are told something it doesn't mean you can rely on it.

It's clear that leaving the EU would mean new treaties between the UK and EU and it is obvious that immigration rules would change. There were many people saying many different things about how they would change, but if he had just tried to apply some logic he should have come to the conclusion that, at best, his right to live in the EU was at risk.

Tenacious D only UK show was there. It was a good show and worth the effort.

Paid to park at the Holiday Inn Express if anyone wanted the info. Worked out well.

I used to love browsing /r/rugbyunion before leaving that platform. It is out of season at the moment but with the world cup a couple of months away, does anybody have any ideas on how we can use the run up to the WC to grow this community?

Any affected players?

Does anybody have tips for parking at or near the o2 for an event?

My wife is heavily pregnant so we would rather drive in but venue parking is pricey and on their website they are warning about traffic due to roadworks.
