Caleb is not the problem. The 4th quarter "tackling" from USC in that Championship game was some of the saddest I have ever seen. I was embarrassed for them, and I wanted Utah to win.

I would love to cheer for him, but with my team also being close I cant afford to. With the change to 12 this doesn't matter. Whether this is good or bad is subject to your personal views

Don't confuse "matters less" with "doesn't matter," LOL. Nudging the hate down the polls 8 spots won't make it go away. 🤣

Very fair point, but with only 4 spots you are limited with conference representation. As a stong contender gor 2nd or 3rd in the 1st or 2nd best conference you need a good season and or help from top dogs. With 6? at large spots there is much more breathing room. Now I need not worry about usc or clempson, they have their spots and a 9-2 tenn (assuming losses to uga and bama) is getting in over everone but like an 10-1 um/osu and there's only one of those in most scenarios. I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions but I honestly like it more when losing twice means no nc contention.
