What’s the answer to getting money out of politics? Apparently that’s the main reason we are supporting Israel. (self.politics)

As above really.. apparently some organisation the “AMC” or maybe “ANC” heard it on The Young Turks anyway.

Israel put money into it, basically bribing Democratic Party via donations. But they allegedly want Trump to win this election so they can really start opening up the gas chambers and everything. To step up this Genocide. “Remove” Palestinians. Take the land etc.

Cos of course it’s a bit embarrassing their efforts at the moment. Their hearts not really in it.

Apparently Biden is having some loud arguments with Netanyexecute. As if he can’t just cut off the money. Rolling the dice on a Trump presidency that could make this election the last.

America sure was a good country wasn’t it? Until it imploded within a mere 200 years of it’s founding.

Dunno where I’m going with this anymore. What do you guys think anyhow?

Unfortunately the folks that would get the money out of politics work for a living in politics.

And it can be hard for voters to discern between an actual anti-corruption candidate and one who merely uses that rhetoric as cover to purge dissidents within their ranks.

A few options off the top of my head: -fire everyone and start fresh -make political office a job that is randomly assigned to citizens that rotates often -link politicians pay to the average citizens pay and prevent any additional means of income -introduce a big sharp head slicey thingy for politicians we do not like and set it up in a prominent square so they can watch their peers face judgment

In all seriousness, I am not a political theorist by any means, but it seems obvious that we have to prevent the job from being a financial windfall for anyone who gets elected. Prevent big business and the war machine from being able to contribute in any way to a politician. Politicians and their family/friends certainly shouldn't be able to trade stocks. While I type this, everything seems like a generality and also kind of hopelessly optimistic. Helluva Country 'we' have built that is so prepoccupied with profit that it cannot stop selling weapons that are clearly killing innocents.
