Bummer. Although last time I saw them they were making so many comments about being old and how playing tech death is getting harder for them.
Technical Death Metal
A community for the technical death metal subgenre. Share and discuss music that melts your face!
Rules:
-
Don't be a dick.
-
Try not to get too bogged down in genre-gatekeeping. Discussing the "tech" credentials of some release/band is fun, but as long as it's oozing viscera, it probably has a place here. Shredbang!
-
Suggested (not enforced) music-posting format, mostly to distinguish band name from album/song title:
Artist - Album Or Song (Location, Year) (ffo: These Bands) (links)
ffo ("for fans of") and added links (e.g. YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Encyclopaedia Metallum) are optional but can make it easier to check out the music you're sharing.
Examples:
- Carnosus - Fermenting Blastospheres of Future Putridity (Sweden, 2023)
- Job For A Cowboy - Sun Eater (USA-AZ, 2014) (ffo: All Shall Perish, Wretched) (yt, s, bc, em)

Kevin Paradis is a good candidate. There's a lot of drummers that could fill Spencer's shoes. Will be interesting to see who they pick.
Kevin is at the talent level that he shouldn't need to audition for them to know he would be an excellent drummer for them. They could call him for a tour starting next week and he would show up and absolutely kill it.
The thing is that there are a bunch of people at that level. Doesn't hurt to hold open auditions.
